Samsung Flip Pro is an interactive touchscreen display of the new Flip Pro range with a diagonal of 55 to 85 inches.
The Korean manufacturer Samsung is not only “turning” the smartphone market with the Galaxy Z Flip models. But Samsung also introduced the most powerful interactive display models to date, the Samsung Flip Pro, which can be integrated into everyday work and school life with many of the convenient features of a modern interactive display.
Compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Flip 3, the improvements should be even more noticeable. This includes an even smoother 4K touchscreen writing experience, which should allow for smooth writing, drawing and sketching thanks to a reduced latency of just 26ms.
The new Samsung Flip Pro is equipped with the latest display technology, has a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m² and offers a high contrast ratio of 4000:1. The installed ambient light sensor also detects the ambient light intensity fully automatically and individually adjusts the brightness of the display depending on the environment.
Up to 20 people can be able to interactively work on a document simultaneously via external access. You can write or draw with your finger or stylus with 2048 pressure levels.
You can connect external devices via USB-A (3.0), USB-A, HDMI or USB Type-C on the front of the Samsung Flip Pro. With PowerDelivery technology, the USB Type-C port can also charge connected devices such as tablets, laptops or smartphones while transmitting video and audio, and even transmit touch display commands.
Added to this are Bluetooth, WLAN and AirPlay 2 support for wireless connectivity. Samsung SmartView+ can also wirelessly connect up to 50 different devices and display four different layers of content at the same time. To do this, the screen is divided into four areas of the same size in split screen mode.
The results of work from group tasks in the office or school assignments can be posted here in real time, edited, provided with sketches or images and commented.
Rich sound comes from the powerful 40W built-in audio system, which should ensure loud playback even in large conference rooms and classrooms.
The OPS slot on the Flip Pro allows the use of a third-party OPS computer, providing the option to use school information systems (SIS) or specialized teaching applications. In hybrid work environments, the display comes with preinstalled tools that should make everyday work easier.
For example, you have direct access to network drives, or you can use the full Office 365 suite directly over a web connection. The Google Duo app is also pre-installed for video conferencing, but you'll need to bring or purchase the appropriate webcam yourself.
With Samsung, you can use compatible Logitech webcams that can be conveniently attached to the edge of the display.
The Samsung Flip Pro uses Tizen 6.5 as its operating system, which stands out for its particularly intuitive interface that even young children should have no problem with in everyday school life.
From a technical standpoint, the Samsung Flip Pro uses a quad-core Cortex A72 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. 32 GB of disk space is available internally, of which 2.65 GB should already be occupied at the factory. So you can use 29.35 GB for apps and data.
4K panels like New Edge have a refresh rate of 60Hz and offer a high viewing angle of 178 degrees from all angles. The gray to gray response time is estimated at 6 ms.
The Samsung Flip Pro is not lightweight. For example: The 75" Flip Pro measures 1724 x 1026.3 x 89mm and weighs 59.3kg. On the other hand, the 85-inch model is significantly larger: 1945.8 x 1151.1 x 89 and weighs 75.2 kg. But despite this, they have special handles for moving on a stand with wheels.
Both models are available in White/Grey and can be wall-mounted in landscape mode.
