COMPONENT IN / AV IN

- Connect the L-AUDIO-R jack on the TV with audio cables (using the AV IN /
Component IN adapter) with the corresponding audio output connectors on the component, audio or
video device.
- The COMPONENT IN connector can also be used as a VIDEO connector.
- Connect one end of the component video cables (sold separately) to the component video cables
(PR, PB, Y) jacks on the TV (using the AV IN adapter / Component IN adapter) and the other end
to the corresponding component video output jacks on your DVD player. Connector color should
match the color of the cable.
- If you want to connect a set-top box and a DVD player at the same time, you must first
connect the set-top box to the DVD player and then the DVD player to the component
(PR, PB, Y) jacks of the TV (using the AV IN adapter / Component IN adapter).
- The PR, PB and Y outputs on component devices (DVD) are sometimes labeled as Y, B-Y and R-Y or Y, Cb and
Cr.
- For AV devices, connect one end of an RCA audio cable (sold separately) to
the L-AUDIO-R socket on the TV (using the AV IN adapter / Component IN adapter) and the other end to
the corresponding audio output jacks on the external device.
- When connecting a composite device (AV) to the AV IN [Y / Video] terminal, connect the video cable
(yellow) to the AV IN [Y / VIDEO] connector (green / yellow).

- For the correct display of TV channels, the signal must come from one of the
following sources:
- External antenna / cable TV system / satellite receiver
