Kyocera

Kyocera Corporation was founded in 1959 by Dr. Kazuo Inamori. Dr. Inamori, Chairman of Kyocera and DDI Corporation, is one of Japan's most successful and respected entrepreneurs, author of several books (Passion for Success), founder of the Inamori Foundation and the Kyoto Prize.

The range of products ranges from the assembly and manufacture of components for microelectronics to optical and electronic systems, including cameras, laser printers and telecommunications equipment.

In 1999, Kyocera Corporation and Mita Industrial Co. Ltd. the merger formed the Kyocera Mita Corporation. The new company, combining the technical strengths of both companies to produce premium printers and copiers, has become a new member of the worldwide Kyocera group.

The Kyocera Mita product line includes laser printers, digital copiers, fax machines and multifunctional devices. The merger of the two corporations made it possible to begin the process of technology integration, thanks to which new directions are effectively developed, unique technologies are being improved and honed.

Kyocera Mita Corporation is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
The European headquarters for Europe, Africa and the Middle East is located in the suburbs of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
